Of course the rates of ecnxahge on ALL money changes weekly, so bring both you can't go wrong that way .but US dollars are more widely known & accepted.The airport & banks give really bad ecnxahge rates .wait until your in Ocho Rios to ecnxahge your money. There are 4-5 cambios to choose from there, but the one that has the BEST rate is near the clock ( every town has a town centre with a tall clock in its heart ) go to the clock, look across from Rexal Plaza where Mothers ( fast food ) is located, you'll see a fabric store next door is a small market..go inside to the glass window & ecnxahge there they're normally 2-3 dollars higher which makes a big difference on a large sum.
